Former Juventus manager Igor Tudor has reached a verbal agreement to join Tottenham and replace Frank.
Tottenham were holding talks with Tudor, and they have ended up being positive, with the Croatian set to move to London.
Spurs began their managerial hunt right after sacking Thomas Frank, as they want someone in situ ahead of the Arsenal game on 22 February.

Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange narrow in on Igor Tudor
According to David Ornstein, Tudor will join Spurs as the interim manager until the end of the season.
The Lilywhites want to give the 47-year-old the next few months to steady the ship, go on a run in the Champions League and also finish as high as they possibly can.
Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange led the process of hiring the former Juventus boss after deciding to sack Frank.
Igor Tudor is expected to be the next interim manager…👀
Where will Tottenham finish if he's hired until the end of the season?
There is no option to make his term permanent in the contract, but if things go well, then Spurs could always look to hire him on a longer-term basis.
He arrives with big-club experience, something that Frank lacked, and that is one of the reasons why the North London outfit are hiring him.

What can Tottenham fans expect from Tudor?
Frank was hired to shore up the defence, but he failed to do so, and in trying to achieve that, the club also lacked cohesion in the final third.
Under Tudor, the aim will be to strengthen the defence and he is expected to deploy a back three, playing either a 3-4-2-1 or a flat 3-4-3.
While he does like to play an aggressive brand of football and have his players press high up the pitch, he does not prioritise his side retaining possession.
He often goes for a more direct approach and asks his team to play on the counter attack, which is not something the fans have liked previous managers doing.
That said, the fans and the board are looking for stability and wins over style as they want to get further away from the relegation zone.
West Ham are currently in 18th place and are just five points behind their London rivals.
