Tottenham started the Premier League season without Ryan Sessegnon due to the defender picking up an injury, but manager Ange Postecoglou by the positive injury update on the 23-year-old.
The Tottenham full-back suffered an injury setback over pre-season. He suffered a bad hamstring injury that has seen him sidelined since February. Due to this, he has not been available for selection or been able to train since.
Despite Ryan Sessegnon being injured, the start of the Premier League season has been very good for Spurs as they remain undefeated.
Now, reports from The Daily Mail have provided a positive injury update for Spurs with difficult fixtures ahead, starting with Liverpool this weekend.

Tottenham defender Ryan Sessegnon injury update
Ange Postecoglou has done a great job so far with Spurs. Despite this, he has picked up a couple of injuries along the way.
Ivan Perisic, who plays in a similar position to Sessegnon, is also currently injured. With this in mind, the club need some depth back at full-back.
Sessegnon has resumed light training and is set to restart running on grass in a major boost for his recovery.
The player is still a number of weeks away from being able to fully train with the senior squad but this is still a very positive update.

Sessegnon is not the only player at Spurs yet to properly train and feature under Postecoglou since the manager joined in the summer. Rodrigo Bentancur is also sidelined with a long-term injury.
These are two players who would add some top quality and depth to the Tottenham squad. To hear that Sessegnon is only a few weeks away from full senior training is great news. Despite him not being available for the Liverpool match, this news will still delight Spurs fans ahead of the game.
