Tottenham are exploring a number of options, including Igor Tudor, as the manager hunt is ramping up.

The 47-year-old was most recently in charge of Juventus, but is now free after parting ways with the Serie A giants.

He replaced Thiago Motta at Juventus, but after a winless run of eight games, was eventually sacked by them.

Tottenham touch base with Igor Tudor to join immediately

While Tottenham are expected to revisit the managerial market once again in the summer, they are looking for someone on an interim basis until the end of the season.

They do have a while before their next game, which is against Arsenal on 22 February, giving them a decent amount of time to hire the right candidate.

There will be talks and eventually the process of narrowing in on the ideal manager, but they have kick-started the chase already.

According to Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto, they have already made initial contacts with Tudor, who has been viewed as a strong candidate to take over the reins until the end of the season.

He is not the favourite for the job just yet, but is under serious consideration at the North London outfit.

Why are Spurs keen on hiring Tudor?

It remains to be seen if Tudor can convince the Tottenham board that he is the right man for the job.

He does deploy a back three system, which has not necessarily been the best fit in the Premier League.

Tudor does like to play an aggressive and direct brand of football that looks to dominate opponents through structured rather than possession-based play.

This is very similar to what Frank tried to impose at Tottenham, and in many ways, is against the club ethos and what the fans want.

Someone like Roberto De Zerbi, who is also available, would be a much better stylistic fit, and he also has Premier League experience to show for it.
