Tottenham face Liverpool in the Premier League on the weekend and there is an injury update on both attacking midfielder James Maddison and full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold ahead of the huge match.
The start of the Premier League season has been good for Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou as they remain undefeated and sit fourth in the division.
Both managers held their press conferences today ahead of the match and they were able to provide injury updates on James Maddison and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Speaking in his press conference about the Liverpool defender, Jurgen Klopp said: “Trent trained yesterday normal. Will train today normal. We have to make a decision. It looks like he will be in the squad and play.”
Ange Postecoglou’s James Maddison injury update
Meanwhile, Spurs fans will be delighted to hear that Postecoglou’s update on Maddison was positive. He said: “Madders and Sonny, they trained today, we will see how they pull up from training. Both got through everything we needed them to get through.”

James Maddison and Trent Alexander-Arnold injury concerns for Tottenham vs Liverpool
Maddison signed in the summer and has been a crucial player so far for Spurs this season. Current captain Son Heung-Min believes the attacking player could be Tottenham’s Harry Kane replacement.
Liverpool have also had a good start and sit second and they are two points in front of Spurs as it currently stands.
Maddison had to be substituted off in the North London Derby last weekend against Arsenal but it is good to hear the latest on his injury.
The game is huge for both sides as momentum will be high and they want to show that the can battle at the top this season.

No doubt both managers have provided a very positive injury update on their players and this will make the match on the weekend even more exciting.
Both provide a lot of attacking threat for their sides and with both Liverpool and Tottenham free scoring this season, many will be predicting a lot of goals with Maddison and Alexander-Arnold looking like they are available.
