Tottenham Hotspur have a player who is outperforming Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
There have been a lot of positives to take from Ange Postecoglou’s first season at the helm in north London.
One of them has been the club’s free-flowing, attack-minded brand of football which has seen them score 59 goals in the Premier League.

Heung-min Son outperforming Erling Haaland
According to WhoScored, Heung-min Son has been able to record a higher average rating in the Premier League this term.
The South Korean captain has been able to find the back of the net 14 times and has provided eight assists.
Although Haaland has netted four more goals than Son, the 31-year-old is the league’s biggest over performer when it comes to xG this season.
Overall, the £22m Son has been awarded a 7.4 rating by WhoScored, whereas, Haaland has been handed a 7.39 rating.
It may only be fine margins separating the pair, but it just goes to show what type of level Son is performing at this season.

What Heung-min Son has said about his retirement
Going into the summer, Spurs have just one year remaining on their deal with the 31-year-old forward.
And given the performances he has put in this season, they are said to be stepping up their talks to tie him down to a new deal.
It is claimed the South Korean is keen to remain at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for years to come.
However, he has recently spoken out about his life after football and what that might – and might not – involve.
He has previously said that once his playing days are over, he would not consider management, and that is something he has stuck to.
Whatever lies ahead of him in the long-term, Spurs will be hoping he sticks around for at least another few years.
As it stands, Son is showing no signs of slowing down in front of goal and is providing Spurs with a real threatn following the departure of Harry Kane in the summer.
