Roony Bardghji transfer latest

Tottenham transfer target Roony Bardghji is expected to make a move in the upcoming summer transfer window. That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claimed in his Caught Offside column that his contract situation is likely to force a switch.

The 18-year-old has just over one-year remaining on his current contract, with a number of clubs showing interest. Spurs will be hopeful of landing Bardghji, who scored an impressive winner for Copenhagen against Manchester United in the Champions League.

Tottenham break record

Tottenham broke one of their own records in their win against Crystal Palace, which has stood for 20-years. According to OPTA data, Ange Postecoglou‘s men recorded a total 728 passes against the Eagles, resulting in a 3-1 win.

That turns out to be the most that Spurs have completed in a home match since OPTA records began in 2003-2004. It’s a far cry from the struggles of last season, with the Lilywhites pushing for a top four finish once again.

Tottenham face a major decision over the future of forward Timo Werner in the coming weeks ahead. The German international is approaching the end of his loan spell from RB Leipzig, which includes a £15million clause for a permanent deal.

While there has been some impressive displays from the former Chelsea winger, there’s a big question over whether he should stay or go in the summer.
