The future of Tottenham defender Eric Dier continues to twist and turn following his loan exit to Bayern Munich in January. The defender has featured for the disjointed Bundesliga champions, during a period of uncertainty.

With Thomas Tuchel set to leave as head coach in the summer, doubts began arising over the future of Dier at the club. However, according to Sky Sports Germany, those doubts are now gone and a permanent stay appears more likely.

Dier is a free agent in the summer, with his Tottenham contract set to expire at the end of his loan spell in Bavaria.

Tottenham summer transfer targets revealed

Tottenham’s plans for the summer transfer window are starting to step up as Ange Postecoglou prepares to bolster his squad options. With the wide areas being of particular importance, the Independent claims two options are already outlined.

Those are Wolves star Pedro Neto and Crystal Palace talisman Eberechi Eze. The duo have continued to impress in the Premier League over recent seasons and offer a clear dribbling and one-v-one threat in the wide areas.

Tottenham scouting mission

Tottenham are following a move for Fiorentina full-back Michael Kayode ahead of the summer transfer window. That’s part of a report from HITC, which claims that Spurs have been scouting the 19-year-old in anticipation of a potential switch.

The Italian youngster is also catching the attention of Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa and West Ham as he continues to impress.
