Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs who have sent scouts to watch full-back Michael Kayode ahead of the summer.

Serie A is a market which Spurs are more than familiar with by now having brought in a lot of their starting XI from the Italian top flight.

And it seems as if another name could be on the radar with the summer market coming up as Ange Postecoglou’s scouts have already been sent.

Tottenham interested in Michael Kayode

According to a report from HITC, the Lilywhites are one of the Premier League clubs who are already showing an interest in the 19-year-old.

Alongside the likes of Aston Villa, Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham United, the north London club are said to have their eye on the Italian prospect.

Strength in depth is what Spurs require at full-back after their recent loss to Wolves saw their issues exposed in the absence of their starting duo.

The Spurs News have been told the club are looking to bring in a versatile full-back this summer and already have Kyle Walker-Peters as a potential option.

Udogie setting the example

Having signed Destiny Udogie from Udinese in 2022, Spurs have shown just how well they can nurture some of their young talents.

The Italian left-back was sent straight back to Udinese on loan for the 2022/23 campaign before finally making the move to Hotspur Way last summer.

And Udogie has already demonstrated his ability in the Premier League under Postecoglou who has slotted him straight into the starting XI.

This could provide the Lilywhites with a really strong pitch for Kayode with a prime example of a success story at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But with Pedro Porro impressing at Spurs, a move to N17 may not be as appealing with the player not having a direct path into the starting XI.

His manager, Vincenzo Italiano, however, has already said that the youngster ‘fears nothing‘ which may suggest he would be up for the challenge.
