Tottenham fans call for Ange Postecoglou to bring £25M star into the team vs West Ham United

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been calling for Ange Postecoglou to make one big change to his team against West Ham United after the intentional break.

Spurs can’t believe how they managed to throw away a two-goal lead against Brighton to lose 3-2 at the Amex Stadium. The visitors were in total control up until the break, however, the second 45 minutes followed a different script with goals from Yankuba Minteh, Georginio Rutter and Danny Welbeck turning the game on its head.

Postecoglou will now need to go away and rethink how he sets up his team going forward with his team making so many poor mistakes against the Seagulls.

Tottenham fans call for Radu Dragusin to start vs West Ham

Tottenham fans have called for Radu Dragusin to start against West Ham United following Cristian Romero’s poor performance in the defeat to Brighton.

The Argentine played a big role in gifting Brighton their third goal and Spurs supporters have become frustrated by the defender once again losing concentration in a key moment.

Spurs conceded a similar goal against Leicester as Romero lost track of Jamie Vardy and allowed the veteran striker a free header at the back post.

Following another mistake, the fans have taken to X to call for Dragusin to come in for the 26-year-old after the intentional break against the Hammers.

“Udogie was bad, but yet again Romero went missing when it mattered. He needs to be dropped. Would like to see Dragusin in there until Romero clears his head and realises he can’t sleepwalk through games,” claimed one fan on social media.

One supporter said: “We need to discuss Romero… Could be Dragusin time for a bit. Also, this is 100 percent on Ange. Hasn’t done anything when the momentum shifted and it’s cost us big time.”

“I ain’t being funny, doing this twice in the first seven games deserves being dropped for Dragusin in our next match. This is so basic it’s the sort of error I’d get annoyed at my mates for in Sunday league. Never mind a PROFESSIONAL defender doing it TWICE,” added another fan.

How Tottenham could lineup vs West Ham: Will Heung-min Son be fit?

Heung-min Son coming back into the team is the only expected change for Postecoglou’s team against West Ham. The South Korean is hopeful of being fit to face the East London club after the international break.

The Australian head coach is likely to stick with his vice-captain for the clash and Dragusin will again have to watch from the sidelines.

Djed Spence for Destiny Udogie could be another change with the Italian looking unfit right now, however, he is expected to remain in the team for the London derby. Udogie had a nightmare performance against Brighton but Postecoglou will most likely stick by him.

Tottenham’s predicted line-up vs West Ham: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bentancur, Maddison, Kulusevski; Johnson, Son, Solanke.
