Ben Davies has been a phenomenal servant for Tottenham Hotspur over the years.
The Welsh defender joined Tottenham Hotspur in July 2014 on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Ten years on, he’s 300+ games deep and still an internal part of the first-team squad.
He’s almost become part of the furniture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium now and has matured into a fine player who can fill in wherever needed in the defence.
But not only does he ooze class on the pitch, he’s also a gentleman off of it – which is reflected in an amazing gesture he posted to Instagram recently.

The 30-year-old shows a lot of intelligence on the pitch but is also evidently very knowledgable off it – having been revealed as a keen bookworm.
He took to Instagram to showcase several books he had lying around his house – which were then accompanied by some messages soon after. The first read:
‘I won’t re-read them so would rather give them to a good home. If you would like one, just reply to my story with your address and I’ll send it to you.’
This was then swiftly followed with a message that stated: ‘All the books have been claimed. I will ship them tomorrow and will be back soon after I have read some more.’

Tottenham Hotspur fans lapped this up. They flooded the comments of the post that showcased every single Instagram story with adoration for their long-serving defender.
‘He’s so wholesome, I love you benny davies’ and ‘Ben Davies – what a man’ two fans start.’
Another writes: ‘This is the cutest thing a footballer has ever done.’
A final adds, making a good point: ‘I love (and am slightly concerned about) how much people trust Ben Davies to send this man home addresses so he can send out his read books.’
