Tottenham are taking on Eintracht Frankfurt tonight in the final group stage game of the Champions League.
Thomas Frank is clinging to his position as the head coach at Tottenham and desperately needs to get a result tonight.
With the scores locked at 0-0 in the first half, Tottenham had a goal disallowed through Xavi Simons, who thought he’d opened the scoring after six minutes.
It’s believed that Wilson Odobert was offside, and the goal was ruled out following a VAR check, much to the dismay of Spurs.
Naturally, pundits have started to react to the decision made by the match officials.

Tim Sherwood reacts to disallowed Tottenham goal vs Frankfurt
The former Spurs boss was covering the game for Sky Sports, and he thought the decision was nothing short of a joke after being quizzed on it.
The call did look to be somewhat close, and it was one that left Tottenham completely shellshocked after being denied a very early lead.
Sherwood said: “It is a disgraceful decision to rule out the Tottenham goal. It would never have been ruled out in the Premier League.”
Tim Sherwood has spoken but does he have a point?
Spurs had a goal disallowed after six minutes in Frankfurt!
Tottenham can secure top eight place tonight
The writing could be on the wall for Frank if a win isn’t secured in Germany this evening.
Tottenham are guaranteed a place in the top eight with a victory, and playing a team already out of the competition couldn’t make life any easier.
Sherwood has a point that Tottenham will feel aggrieved over this decision, but ultimately, Spurs have enough quality on the pitch to get the job done.
Frank really needs to mastermind something in the second half tonight and hopefully, Tottenham will have enough to get that top eight spot.
