Tottenham are busy trying to bring players to the club before the transfer deadline on Monday.
Conor Gallagher has checked in from Atletico Madrid so far in January, with left-back Souza also signing for Tottenham so far during the window.
There is a real need for attacking talent, however, to come to the club before the window closes, with Tottenham really struggling to shine in the Premier League.
Now, with days remaining of the window and on the eve of a big Champions League game for Tottenham, a new name has emerged as a possible Spurs target.

Tottenham want Jean-Philippe Mateta
It seems trendy at the moment for clubs to be eyeing Crystal Palace following their exploits under Oliver Glasner, who led the club to FA Cup glory last season.
According to the Daily Mail, Mateta is one of the names on the list to replace Randal Kolo Muani should Tottenham decide to let him return to PSG this month.
The French striker hasn’t scored in 15 outings in the Premier League for Tottenham, and Thomas Frank is looking for a bit of a dead cert when it comes to goals on the domestic front.
Mateta has been criticised by Palace fans this season, but the fact remains that he’s scored eight goals for the Eagles during what has been a largely frustrating campaign.
Wayne Rooney hailed Mateta in September, calling him the only proper number nine in the Premier League in the modern era.
Would you take Jean-Philippe Mateta at Tottenham before the window closes?

Mateta would be strong Tottenham signing
Tottenham would have to part with £40 million to sign Mateta before Monday’s deadline, but given what has been raised with the sale of Brennan Johnson, it might be worth doing.
Mateta guarantees goals in the Premier League, and with Tottenham set to continue in the Champions League, the move could be very attractive to the striker.
Tottenham badly need a lift from somewhere before the window closes and with an extremely tough run of fixtures to come, Frank knows he needs some players through the door.
Mateta might not be a glamorous world beater of a striker but when it comes to the here and now, he’s be more than good enough for what Tottenham need him for.
