Tottenham Hotspur boast an impressive squad full of talent, with some stars in their prime as well as some exciting talents for the future.
This week, FourFourTwo has published their list of who they deem to be the 100 best footballers in the men’s game.
Three Tottenham players have made the cut. The highest is at no. 64, followed by no. 85, and the third just about made the list in 92nd place.

Son Heung-min
The Tottenham captain, who has 146 goals and 86 assists from 415 Spurs outings, just about makes the list at no. 92.
While it’s good to see him represented, you can’t help but wonder whether a player of his calibre and with so many great years behind him should be much higher than that.
“The dip in form Heung-min Son suffered under Antonio Conte feels a long time ago now,” wrote FourFourTwo.
“Since Ange Postecoglou rocked up at Tottenham, Son has managed to get back to his best form.
“Harry Kane’s departure made him the main man in North London and the South Korean has taken the responsibility in his stride.”
Micky van de Ven
The 23-year-old defender has been listed at no. 85 in the list as FourFourTwo praised his pace and ball-playing skills, deeming him one of Europe’s best young defenders.
“It’s no coincidence that Tottenham’s 2023/24 season suffered when Micky van de Ven picked up an injury,” they wrote.
“His searing pace at the back allows Spurs to play a high line and underpins the team’s wider tactical approach.
“His incredible assist against Manchester United in September showed just how good he is with the ball at his feet as well. Easily one of the best young defenders in Europe.”

Pedro Porro
Tottenham’s world-class right-back is the highest Spurs player on the list, making it at no. 64, and he was backed to become even better.
“A very modern full-back… by which we mean he is unbelievably attacking to the extent that his defensive work sometimes leaves a bit to be desired,” they wrote.
“But there’s no faulting Porro’s application, and after a difficult start to life at Tottenham, he has become one of the most notable right-backs in the division.
“At 25 years old, his prime years may still be ahead of him too.”
