Tottenham Hotspur have arguably one of their best squads in years.
Ange Postecoglou has got together a squad of fantastic talent this season, which has reflected in their performances.
The likes of James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Guglielmo Vicario and many more have been vital to the team’s successes – all signed by Postecoglou.
But such as Tottenham‘s summer signings have been important, a lot of the pre-existing Hotspur Way crew have also stepped up – which is why they must keep hold of them.

Three Tottenham contract renewals are ‘on the agenda’ soon
According to The Athletic, three of the existing members who should be rewarded with new long-term contracts will be Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma and Cristian Romero.
They report: ‘While no other contract renewals are imminent, the situations of Bentancur, Bissouma and Romero will be on the agenda before too long.’
‘This is the approach that has worked so well for Tottenham in the past and it was instrumental in building a team that could punch above its weight on the pitch and in the marketplace.’
And well deserved too. The tri have definitely proven themselves worthy of gracing the turf at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Romero has formed a formidable partnership with Van de Ven (of course when they’re both fit). Bissouma, bought for £25m, was destined to be sold, but has looked rejuvenated under the Aussie manager and Bentancur has barely put a foot wrong since his arrival from Juventus.
Tottenham’s new philosophy
Tottenham are now in a great position – arguably the best in years.
The club know they can be an attractive destination again for young players, eager to learn and develop in the Premier League, under a manager who trusts them.
Alongside this, the current players also have faith and a mission at the club – they see it going places. Great to see for Spurs fans. They’ll be hoping it continues.
