Thomas Frank is facing the heat at Tottenham after the 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.

Tottenham hired Frank from Brentford in the summer, with the hopes that he could be a training ground coach and get the best out of the young players in the side.

However, that has not happened, and he has already lost the majority of the fanbase that were excited for a change.

Currently, Spurs sit in 14th place in the Premier League and have been knocked out of both domestic cup competitions.

They are 11th in the Champions League table and look to be in contention to make it to the knockout stages.

Thomas Frank faces four games that will shape Tottenham future

According to the BBC, Frank continues to retain the support of the Spurs hierarchy despite their bad run of form.

Tottenham are backing their manager in January, so there are no immediate plans to sack the Dane.

It’s understood that he has been told that four games could now shape his future at the club.

The Premier League games are the home fixture against West Ham and the away match against Burnley.

Tottenham then host Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League and also have to navigate a tricky away game against Eintracht Frankfurt.

If Frank does not bring Spurs back on track post those games, there is a good chance of him parting ways with the club mid-season.

How much will it cost to sack Frank?

Finances have been a big talking point at Spurs over the last decade, especially since work began on constructing the new stadium.

Thus, any decision to sack Frank a few months after hiring him will be made only if it is deemed an utmost necessity.

In case they decide to go ahead with it, GB News has claimed that it would cost the Lilywhites a fee in the region of £20million.

Frank still has two-and-a-half years left on his deal at the North London outfit, which means that he is due decent compensation in case there is a parting of ways.
