Tottenham Hotspur have the opportunity to quickly make amends for their North London derby loss when they face Coventry City away in the League Cup.

Spurs head to the West Midlands on Wednesday night in hope of progressing in the competition as they chase their first major trophy since 2008.

Now, according to GiveMeSport, Postecoglou has been forced into a U-turn of sorts in wake of the North London derby loss.

The report claims that Postecoglou is not planning to make wholesale changes to his line-up against Coventry.

This is because the defeat to Arsenal has resulted in him heading to the West Midlands with more pressure on his shoulders.

Now, Postecoglou will not be entertaining the possibility of over-experimenting with his squad, added the report.

The Spurs boss aims to boost his side’s hopes of securing silverware by progressing in the League Cup, so a overhaul of his XI now looks unlikely.

Which youngsters could feature for Tottenham at Coventry?

Although Postecoglou is seemingly not planning to overhaul his XI, there’s still a good chance some changes will be on the cards.

The same report claimed that the Tottenham boss is potentially looking to start Archie Gray, while Lucas Bergvall is ‘expected to make a significant impact’.

Postecoglou himself told the press that the likes of Gray, Bergvall, Wilson Odobert, Mikey Moore and Pape Matar Sarr could all feature for Spurs against the Sky Blues.
