Tottenham Hotspur will look to get back to winning ways when they return to Premier League action this weekend.
With the final international break of 2024 now out of the way, Spurs can now fully focus on getting their season back on track without further interruptions.
Tottenham have suffered from a real lack of consistency this season, losing games they were favourites to win, but also recording some superb results.
Ange Postecoglou’s charges head to Manchester City on Saturday, having already beaten Pep Guardiola’s side once – in the Carabao Cup – this season.
On Friday, Postecoglou held his press conference, where he provided a number of fitness updates.

Cristian Romero joins fellow Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven on sidelines
The main update on the injury front involved Cristian Romero, who was a doubt yesterday but has now been confirmed as being unavailable.
“Romero won’t be right for tomorrow’s game,” Postecoglou told football.london. “We are hoping he will be right for next week.”
Micky van de Ven remains out with a hamstring injury and is not expected back until mid-December.
“We’ll get the advice from the medical team and the people working with him,” said Postecoglou.
“I think there’s always a natural cautiousness with somebody who has a reoccurring problem.
“But at the same time you don’t want to treat him with too many kid gloves around him because otherwise he’s still go to go out there and play at some point.
“It’s fair to say we’re taking all the appropriate steps and Micky will be a good judge of that as well and where he’s at.”
The latest on Richarlison, Wilson Odobert and Mikey Moore
Richarlison and Wilson Odobert are long-term absentees due to hamstring injuries, with Postecoglou mentioning both players at his presser.
“Obviously Wilson will be out for a fair chunk of the season,” he began.
“Richy hopefully will be back in the new year but similar to Micky we just need to be careful every step of the way and Mikey (Moore) will still be out for a little bit of time.”
When asked how badly Moore was hit by the virus he had, the Tottenham boss replied: “Yeah, he was, and because he’s young as well, we just need to be careful with these things.
“He’s back up and about, back in the building and everything, but we’ll take our time with him.”
Rodrigo Bentancur, meanwhile, will serve the first of his seven-game domestic ban.
