Stan Collymore believes that someone like Sean Dyche could help Tottenham avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Tottenham are considering Igor Tudor’s future as they find themselves just one point off the relegation zone.

Tudor came in on an interim basis to replace Thomas Frank, but has failed to deliver the results the hierarchy expected from him.

🤔 Which Spurs player has had the worst season?

Stan Collymore believes Sean Dyche can get the best out of Dominic Solanke

Collymore is of the opinion that Dyche, along with his coaching staff, including Ian Woan and Steve Stone, would be able to get the best out of Dominic Solanke as well.

In his view, they will return to the basics and simplify things in order to get immediate results.

Right now, Spurs do not need a manager who implements a rigid tactical system, but one who can deliver wins.

Collymore believes that Dyche likes tall centre forwards, which is why someone like Solanke could thrive under him.

He expects Spurs to tighten up defensively under the former Everton and Burnley manager, and he could be the one to keep them up.

Collymore said on Hawksbee and Jacobs: “Yes, because I think they’ll go in, they’ll strip things bare. It will be a massive use of somebody like Dom Solanke. They like big forwards, get it up to him, hold it up, lay it off.

“They’ll talk about hard work and a basic organisation. I think that for a very short-term appointment, yes, it could well work.”

What Tottenham fans can expect if Sean Dyche is the next manager

Dyche is known for setting his teams up in a compact 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 shape and he could do that at Spurs.

The back three just has not worked and it is not something the Englishman is a fan of either.

There would be more direct attacks and Tottenham fans could see their side playing more on the counterattack.

While that is not pretty to watch, it can be effective if the players are buying into his philosophy, which is something he needs to achieve pretty quickly.

It will be interesting to see if Spurs go down the Dyche route or bring one of their former players or managers on a short-term basis.
