Tottenham Hotspur lost Chris Davies to Birmingham City over the summer and Ange Postecoglou could now see another key coach leave the club.
Ange Postecoglou will have plenty on his mind in this international break.
Tottenham Hotspur were beaten 3-2 by Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, which Postecoglou described as the worst defeat of his tenure.
Tottenham were 2-0 up and cruising at half time but ended up crumbling in the second half and contrived to lose the game.
Postecoglou is understandably frustrated with Sunday’s defeat and will be looking for answers in this two-week break.
The Australian may yet receive more bad news though as one Tottenham coach potentially nears the exit.

Tottenham Hotspur coach in advanced talks to leave
Tottenham suffered a blow over the summer as Postecoglou’s assistant Chris Davies left the club to become Birmingham City boss.
Spurs pounced to bring in Nick Montgomery as a new addition to Postecoglou’s staff whilst Matt Wells was promoted to Senior Assistant Coach.
Ryan Mason remained a part of Postecoglou’s staff after the reshuffle but former Spurs midfielder is now nearing a departure.
Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri claims that Mason is now ‘leading the race’ to become Anderlecht boss.
Anderlecht recently parted ways with Danish boss Brian Riemer and have picked Mason as a potential replacement.
Tavolieri claims that ‘talks are now advanced’ for Mason to leave Tottenham and take charge of Anderlecht.
The 33-year-old has previously had two spells in interim charge of Tottenham but may now be ready for his first real managerial job.
Mason’s playing career was cut short by injury and after learning his trade as a coach at Tottenham, he could land one of the biggest jobs in Belgian football.

Ryan Mason nearing Jan Vertonghen reunion
Anderlecht sit fourth in the Belgian Pro League table after just one defeat in the first 10 games to start the season.
This presents Mason with a chance to really push for a title in his first season whilst also managing in the Europa League.
Mason’s expected move to Brussels would also see him reunite with Jan Vertonghen.
Former Spurs favourite Vertonghen currently serves as Anderlecht captain with the 37-year-old defender still going strong in his homeland.
Mason and Vertonghen featured at Tottenham together under Mauricio Pochettino and could now join forces once again.
Tottenham fans will certainly wish Mason the best of luck if this move materialises and would no doubt love to see him win some silverware alongside Vertonghen.
