Tottenham Hotspur are about to embark on a new chapter with Igor Tudor, the man to lead the team for the remainder of the season.

Spurs are currently 16th in the Premier League, and that simply won’t do for the club that won the Europa League back in May 2025.

Thomas Frank was fired after a 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle last week, with Tudor the man to replace him in the hot seat for the final 12 games.

With the games now set to come thick and fast in the Premier League and Champions League, Ramon Vega has shared how he thinks things might be different under the new incumbent.

How Ramon Vega thinks Igor Tudor will differ to Thomas Frank

It became the worst-kept secret that Vega wasn’t a fan of Frank by the end of his tenure.

Vega was extremely critical of the head coach and felt the Danish head coach should have been performing far better than he actually was.

Now, the former central defender has explained where he thinks Tudor will definitely improve Tottenham following Frank’s dismissal.

He explained on X: “One thing is for sure about him. He is a no-nonsense manager. He will demand 100% discipline and character from the players. This dressing room needs to be after no respect for Frank to keep us up.”

Tudor’s appointment won’t instantly make the club’s injured players fit and it will be interesting to see if the Croatian can get the same player who failed Frank up for the relegation battle ahead.

Tottenham should have enough to avoid relegation

There is a clear imbalance within the squad in North London at the moment and with Arsenal the next test, things won’t be easy for Tudor.

Tottenham need some players back pretty quickly if they’re to avoid relegation and the fact that Cristian Romero is banned for three more matches certainly won’t help things.

Vega has a bit of a bone to pick with Frank and it feels a bit like blind optimism that he feels Tudor will be able to wave a magic wand and start being able to do what his predecessor couldn’t and get results.

Still, fresh ideas were required and now the hope will be that the disciplinarian Tudor can get some quick wins and turn the season into a more comfortable one.
