Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has admitted Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung-min Son left him needing dental work after Sunday’s game.

The Lilywhites were able to come out on top in the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the weekend.

Timo Werner played a big part in the opening goal as his cross was turned home by Forest defender Murillo.

Tottenham then turned the screw in the second half as Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro led the hosts to all three points.

Ange Postecoglou‘s side saw their captain Heung-min Son draw a blank for the second game in a row.

However, that is not to say the South Korean forward had a quiet evening in north London as it seems he may have been involved in a coming together with a Forest defender.

Ola Aina says Son left him needing medical work after the game

Having failed to find the back of the net in the game against West Ham last Tuesday, Son was also unable to add to his tally of 15 Premier League goals this season on Sunday.

The South Korean has been in sensational form this season considering he lost his attacking partner in Harry Kane over the summer.

Son has recently celebrated his 400th appearance for the Lilywhites but his involvement in the game against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side was not one he will particularly want to remember.

The Forest defence was able to keep the Spurs forwards fairly quiet with the hosts relying on their own defenders to score their second half goals.

However, the Forest full-back, Aina, has been posting some joking stories on his Snapchat account sending a message to Son.

‘Mr Son of Tottenham Hotspur’s where do I send the invoice to when I get this fixed?’ the Forest defender said.

Aina played the full 90 minutes in north London so it is not quite clear what happened between the two players.

The stats show a busy few weeks may have caught up with Son

Son has been sensational this season. The South Korean has shown some of the best form of his career having provided 23 goal contributions this season.

However, the game against Forest was not his finest display this term but it has to be remembered the 31-year-old has endured a busy run of games recently.

Here is a run down of Son’s display against the Premier League strugglers.

The stats do not reflect too negatively on Son, but Spurs fans will have recognised it was a quiet 90 minutes in front of goal for the South Korean.
