Micah Richards is excited to watch Andy Robertson at the World Cup
Micah Richards is excited to watch Scotland captain Andy Robertson at the World Cup following his move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Premier League defender believes that Robertson is still so dependable and is confident that he has so much to offer ahead during the tournament.
Speaking about Scotland on The Rest Is Football, Richards said: “They’ve got Andy Robertson, who’s dependable. I know we’ve not seen as much as he would have liked at Liverpool this season.
“He’s gone to Spurs now. He’s still only, I think he’s still only 32, he’s still got a lot to give. So I’m excited to see him, but I think they’re gonna be hard to beat.”

The North London club confirmed the deal to sign the former Liverpool defender last week, and next season, he will face a new challenge at Spurs.
Tottenham’s impressive left-back options
Robertson joins Destiny Udogie, Micky van de Ven and Souza as Roberto De Zerbi’s left-back options at Spurs next season.
Udogie has struggled to stay fit over the last two seasons; therefore, Robertson should get plenty of chances to start ahead of him.
Meanwhile, Van de Ven could be moved to left-back following the signing of Marcos Senesi, giving De Zerbi another option on the left side of his defence.
But first, one of his greatest ambitions has finally come to fruition, as he will be representing his nation at the World Cup this summer.
