Igor Tudor is busy getting himself settled at Tottenham, and his backroom staff have now been confirmed.

The Croatian manager has managed a number of clubs in Serie A with indifferent levels of performance, with his last job coming at Juventus.

Tudor has signed a short-term contract with Tottenham that takes him until the end of the season, with Spurs just six points above the relegation zone and just 12 games left to play.

Tudor has been granted his wishes when it comes to the team he’s bringing to work with him in the dugout and now things have been finalised.

Work permits still need to be confirmed for the incoming coaches and analysts to work alongside Tudor but things are very close to being finalised.

Tudor will be joined by Ivan Javorcic as his assistant manager, with Riccardo Raganacci joining as a physical coach and Tomislav Rogic joining as the goalkeeping coach.

As a result, it means that Heitinga’s time at Tottenham is over after a 33-day spell in which he failed to be part of a Premier League victory.

The Dutchman joins other Frank-appointed coaches Justin Cochrane and Chris Haslam in departing, with first-team coach Joe Newton also leaving.

Tudor has it all to do at Tottenham

It does feel risky for Tottenham to go down the interim route in their current situation, which is looking more perilous with each passing week.

Tudor’s first game will come against Arsenal, and with the Gunners chasing the title, there is no way that will be an easy game for Tudor to take charge of for the first time.

Tottenham fans are thoroughly fed up when it comes to the Premier League and Tudor will understand that he’s got to quickly get them back onside if he’s to be successful.

It does feel strange for Tottenham to let Heitinga come in if the discussions had started over Frank’s future and it’s perhaps quite telling that he’s not been offered the chance to stay by Tudor.
