Tottenham Hotspur right-back Pedro Porro is going into Saturday’s game as an injury doubt.

Spurs have recently been hit with a number of injuries to some of their important starting players.

And it seems as if Pedro Porro’s woes may continue into the weekend ahead of the game against Crystal Palace.

Pedro Porro injury latest

According to club expert Paul O Keefe, the Spaniard is set to undergo late tests ahead of the game against the Eagles.

Porro was an absentee from the previous game against Wolves two weeks ago due to a muscular issue.

Now Ange Postecoglou’s staff will be looking to make a late call on whether it is worth the risk to play the 24-year-old.

The right-back is said to be ‘struggling’ which does not sound too promising.

Pedro Porro social media message

Ahead of the game against Oliver Glasner’s side, Porro took to social media to share footage of him training in the gym.

He responded to a message from a fan suggesting he could potentially return for the weekend.

But this latest update does not sound overly optimistic with the match now just hours out.

Dejan Kulusevski has already hailed Porro as an ‘important‘ player for the way Spurs now play under Postecoglou.

And that was seen in the game against Wolves as his replacement, Emerson Royal, simply hasn’t provided the same level of performance.

However, if he is not fully ready to make his return on the weekend, then he shouldn’t be rushed back as another long-term injury is not what Spurs need.
