Tottenham are going to have a summer rebuild during the summer transfer window.
The football club won the Europa League during 2024/25, but in the Premier League, it’s been a struggle with back-to-back 17th-place finishes.
👀With 12 months left on his contract, how much should we pay at the most to sign the £70m-rated Jan Paul van Hecke?
Roberto De Zerbi is the man to lead Tottenham forward and the rebuild will take place this summer as the club look to compete for a place back in Europe next season.
After a solid start to his time in North London, Harry Redknapp has made an intriguing claim about the new Tottenham boss.

Harry Redknapp backs Tottenham for Champions League
Redknapp might be wearing his Tottenham-tinted glasses whilst making this comment, but he thinks the top five is waiting for Spurs next season.
De Zerbi does have a decent pedigree and it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Tottenham shoot up the table next season.
Furthermore, the former boss has also explained what former Premier League player Adam Lallana has told him about De Zerbi.
He told Sky Sports News: “They’re going to rebuild, and I love the manager. I’ve never met him, but I like him. He’s on the touchline, he’s a winner, and he’s kicking every ball.
“People tell me he’s excellent. I speak to Adam Lallana, and he tells me he was amazing to work for when he was at Brighton; he loved him.
“I think he will do a good job, and I see Tottenham next year being a top five team again. I think they will get back into Champions League football again, I really do.”
Tottenham fans might demand a better season next time around, and there is nothing wrong with that.
However, some big changes need to be made to the squad, and as a result, there will need to be some patience whilst the new players settle in.
If Spurs can get some solid attacking options through the door, then there is absolutely no reason why they can’t push for Europe next season, if the Champions League proves a little out of reach.
