Harry Redknapp has made a big claim about one of Tottenham Hotspur’s best academy talents who he believes should be given more game time.
Redknapp certainly has an eye for talent having handed Harry Kane his Tottenham debut aged just 18 years old. The legendary Premier League coach also gave debuts to the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard whilst at West Ham United.
Now, the 77-year-old has spotted another young player who he really likes from Tottenham’s academy and has called on Ange Postecoglou to start him over Timo Werner.

Harry Redknapp makes Tottenham academy star claim
Redknapp claims he is a big fan of Mikey Moore and that the teenager has a big future ahead of him at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
He has also called for Postecoglou to start the 17-year-old over Werner with the German having started in each of Spurs’ last three matches.
Speaking about Moore, Redknapp told talkSPORT (07/10/24 at 8:15 am): “I like the other kid who came on, I think he looks a better wide left player [than Werner], Mikey Moore.
“I know he is just a kid, but he has got something. He looks like a real player for the future or for now, for me. I think he looks the real deal.”
Will Moore or Werner start vs West Ham or will Son return?
Tottenham will be hopeful of having Heung-min Son back fit after the international break. However, should the South Korean forward not be available, Postecoglou must take Redknapp’s advice and start Moore.
Now would be the time to give the 17-year-old his first Premier League start if Sonny is not fit in time with the German’s confidence looking completely shot.
The only other change could be Djed Spence coming in at left-back. Udogie’s performance against Brighton was very poor, however, Postecoglou is likely to stick with the Italian for now.
Tottenham’s predicted line-up vs West Ham: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Bentancur, Maddison, Kulusevski; Johnson, Son, Solanke.
