Tottenham Hotspur’s record goalscorer Harry Kane has now admitted what he found really tough after leaving for Bayern Munich.
It has been a positive season on the whole for Tottenham considering the turbulence they have had along the way since Ange Postecoglou was appointed.
A dismal 2022/23 campaign was then compiled with the sale of perhaps the club’s greatest ever player in Harry Kane.
Replacing a player like Kane on such short notice was never going to be easy and Tottenham still have not directly found his successor.
Richarlison and Heung-min Son have shared the responsibility in front of goal this season with the pair chipping in with the goals.
But how Tottenham have missed the England captain’s consistent stream of goals throughout the campaign.
With a season in Germany now almost under his belt, the 30-year-old has looked back on what he has found difficult since leaving Hotspur Way.

What Harry Kane found difficult about leaving Tottenham
As many would have expected, Kane took no time to settle in to life in Munich. The England captain has now scored 44 goals in 44 games and provided 11 assists.
He is now preparing for a Champions League semi-final clash against Real Madrid which could send Munich to a Wembley final against Borussia Dortmund.
The Champions League has been a fruitful competition for the 30-year-old this season as he is currently the joint-top scorer with Kylian Mbappe on eight goals.
However, it has not all come so easy for the striker who did take some time to settle in to his new environment off the pitch.

Speaking to ITV Sport ahead of Bayern’s trip to Madrid, the England captain has been discussing his first year in Bavaria.
“It was tough to begin with. Obviously I didn’t really know what to expect. I’d been at Tottenham for so long and obviously just coming to a new club and new training ground everything was strange to begin with,” Kane said.
“And, of course, not having my family there was the hardest part being in the hotel. But you know, when I look back now, I’m proud of the way I coped with it to still be able to perform on the pitch and do what you know I came here to do was obviously really pleasing.”
Ange Postecoglou needs Harry Kane replacement this summer
The summer transfer window is going to offer Tottenham with the opportunity to finally bring in their replacement for Kane.
Richarlison has done a job up top but his inability to maintain fitness over the stretch of a season has to be a concern.
The Spurs News also understands Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for the Brazilian this summer with interest coming from Saudi Arabia.
Players like Ivan Toney have been linked with Tottenham, but even still, the England striker also offers uncertainties as he’s been unable to rediscover his best form since returning from his ban.
An interested few months lie ahead of Spurs and this is a decision which it does feel like they need to nail with the attack coming off the boil so desperately in recent weeks.
