Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has now done something which five current Spurs attackers are unable to match.

It has now almost been a full season since the Tottenham record goalscorer departed the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for Bayern Munich.

Under Ange Postecoglou, it has been a season of progression which has still brought a number of challenges.

Perhaps the biggest of them all has been dealing with the countless injuries which Spurs have endured over the season.

Just as the club looked to have drawn clear of their major injury woes, Destiny Udogie, Timo Werner and Ben Davies have all picked up season-ending injuries over the last week or so.

However, losing Harry Kane over the summer has also been a hurdle which Spurs have found difficult to deal with this season.

And the England captain is showing Postecoglou exactly what he is missing in his debut season in Germany with Bayern.

Harry Kane has now done something at Bayern Munich which the Spurs attackers can’t match

Spurs were dealt with the huge blow of losing their club record scorer over the summer, but the deal did take place just days before the season kicked off.

Although some will claim the club may have had a good idea that Kane could have been heading for the exit, they still will have likely been keen to do all they can to keep him.

And losing a player of his quality is no easy fix. This has been proven with Tottenham having some considerable issues at striker this season.

Heung-min Son has struggled of late through the middle and Richarlison has had his injury issues.

Whilst Spurs endure their issues up top, Kane continues to find the back of the net for Bayern.

On Tuesday night, the striker scored his 43rd of the campaign across all competitions for the German giants as they drew 2-2 in their Champions League semi-final first leg against Real Madrid.

And now, according to StatMuse, Kane (43) has now scored more goals than Heung-min Son, Richarlison, Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison combined (42) this season.

What Harry Kane has now said about potentially returning to England this summer

Although it has been a sensational season for Kane in front of goal, Bayern are still yet to get their hands on any silverware.

In fact, the Champions League is now their last hope of lifting a trophy this season after handing over their Bundesliga crown to Bayer Leverkusen.

But Kane has insisted that this will not make him look to leave the club in the summer as he told TNT Sports on Tuesday night he intends to stay in Germany for year.

“I’m here for many years. It’s not just a one-off year that I’ve come for but, of course, the expectation at the start of the year was to win trophies and it has not gone our way in the Bundesliga and in the cup.

“But the Champions League is the biggest one of them all so yeah if we can somehow get our hands on that one then it’d be an amazing season.”
