Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has now admitted he thinks he’s spotted something concerning about Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur.
For the fourth game in a row, it was 90 minutes to forget for Tottenham who were put to the sword by Liverpool at Anfield.
Having found themselves four goals down on Merseyside, Richarlison and Heung-min Son were able to halve the deficit with two consolation goals.
This Spurs side is looking like a complete parallel to what fans were treated to earlier in the campaign.
Champions League football will not be returning to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season with Aston Villa now set to clinch fourth spot.
However, Spurs now need to worry about potentially losing out on fifth spot with the likes of Newcastle United surging up behind them.
After losing at Anfield, Neville admitted he feels something has changed with Ange Postecoglou over recent months.
And it is something that may concern some fans after such a bright start to the campaign.

What Gary Neville has spotted about Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham
On the whole, it has been a positive first season for the Australian at Hotspur Way, however, the season is coming undone in these latter stages.
A lot of fans would have taken a fifth-placed finish in Postecoglou’s first term at the helm on the back of losing Harry Kane last summer.
But it is the manner of some of the recent results which may be creating some concern among the fans ahead of the summer.
Daniel Levy will need to provide Postecoglou with what he wants over the coming months as the 58-year-old looks to put his stamp firmly on this squad.
After the game, Neville spoke on his podcast and suggested that he has seen a slight change in Postecoglou over the season.
“I don’t know whether there’s a little bit of fatigue or a little bit of a disconnect at the end,” he said on Tottenham’s recent results,” he said.
“The manager looks – and I say this in a respectful manner – like he has a little less faith in them during this period than he did at the start of season.
“That’s natural when they’re not quite doing what he wants them to do.
“When Spurs play the way they play under Ange Postecoglou, it’s high tempo or nothing, when it looks really bad. There’s no in between.”
Tottenham players are not living up to their early season form
There are two players, in particular, who do not look like the same players who started the season under Postecoglou.
Yves Bissouma and James Maddison‘s form since the early stages of the season is a complete contrast to what they’re producing now.
The Mali midfielder is the club’s biggest underperformer in comparison to what he showed up until the end of October.
Postecoglou’s style has not changed over the course of the season, but the manager is being let down by players who are not providing the goods on the pitch.
The manager has to take responsibility for Tottenham’s inability to defend set pieces, however, this summer will offer him another chance to mold this squad to how he wants it.
“I hope the club really back him because this is a guy to get behind,” Neville added.
“Spurs have got a style, character and personality as a football club – an arrogance in the way they play – and he brings all those things. They should invest in that.”
