Tottenham Hotspur have several very exciting youngsters coming through their academy and club legend Gary Mabbutt has been discussing his two favourites.
Mabbutt is hopeful that some of the players coming through can follow in the footsteps of Harry Kane and become ‘superstars’ for the North London club.
Tottenham Under-21s won the Premier League 2 last season demonstrating the great work that is going on behind the scenes at Hotspur Way in regards to the academy.
Ange Postecoglou took four academy players for Spurs’ Europa League clash with Ferencvarosi and the quartet will be hoping to get some invaluable first-team minutes.

Gary Mabbutt is excited about Will Lankshear and Mikey Moore
Mabbutt has revealed that he is excited about Will Lankshear and Mikey Moore who have both been added to Postecoglou’s first-team set up.
The teenage duo were both given big minutes during pre-season and impressed enough to be kept around the first team by the Australian coach.
Mabbutt told TalkSPORT: “We have got players coming through the ranks we haven’t had for a while. I think Harry Kane was our last superstar to come through.
“We have got young lads now, Will Lankshear, we have got Mikey Moore who is only just 17. He’s going to be a superstar in the future.”
Will Moore and Lankshear start for Tottenham vs Ferencvarosi
The 59-year-old is expected to name a youthful line-up in Hungary with Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray set to start alongside Moore.
Lankshear is unlikely to start given he is just returning from a hamstring injury although there is a chance he could get on the pitch with Heung-min Son and Richarlison both injured.
Gray could start as a central defender against the Hungarian champions with Radu Dragusin suspended, Micky van de Ven set to be rested, Destiny Udogie left at home and Ben Davies expected to cover the Italian at left-back.
Tottenham predicted line-up vs Ferencvarosi: Vicario; Davies, Gray, Romero, Porro; Bissouma, Sarr, Bergvall; Moore, Johnson, Solanke.
