Tottenham Hotspur supporters should get to see Dejan Kulusevski back on the pitch before the end of the year.

The attacker recently gave an update on where he is in his rehabilitation following an injury he picked up towards the conclusion of Tottenham‘s 2024/25 season.

In the meantime, Thomas Frank at least has new signings Xavi Simons and Mohammed Kudus to call upon.

Like Kulusevski, both men are quite versatile attackers who can play in multiple positions in the forward line.

Dejan Kulusevski could be back in two months’ time

Kulusevski is one of Tottenham’s best players; supporters would like to see him return tomorrow.

Unfortunately, that will not be happening, but the 25-year-old has confirmed that he should be back before the start of 2026.

He told Viaplay: “The status is good. The rehab is going well. Every day I wake up with the same hunger and even more hunger with each passing day. The status is very good and I will be on a football field in the very, very near future.

“If everything goes as it should, as it has so far, I am very confident that I will be on the field in two to three months.”

Kulusevski made 32 appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham last season. Across those games, the Swede managed to score seven goals.

However, he missed the club’s most important fixture of the campaign, the Europa League final against Manchester United, because of his knee injury.

Thankfully for Spurs, they were still able to get the job done in the end, thanks to Brennan Johnson’s goal. Kulusevski will now be hoping that the next European final Spurs reach is in the Champions League.

The fixtures Dejan Kulusevski is set to miss because of knee injury

With Kulusevski unlikely to return to action until mid-November at the earliest, the Sweden international is going to miss some big games.

At the beginning of that month, Frank’s men take on Chelsea and Manchester United. Towards the end of it, there is a north London derby against Arsenal to look forward to.

Unfortunately for Frank and Tottenham, though, they are probably going to have try and beat those teams without Kulusevski.

Spurs fans will be hoping that Simons and Kudus can make the difference in the former Juventus star’s absence. Both players cost big money — over £100m combined — so there will be a lot of pressure on them this season.
