Football pundit Darren Bent believes Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has pulled off a tactical masterstroke in the Premier League this season by playing Son Heung-min as a centre-forward.
Tottenham are currently undefeated in the division and top of the Premier League going into the October international break.
Ange Postecoglou joined the club in the summer and the new manager looks to be the perfect suit for Spurs with his progressive tactics and fun personality.
With Tottenham legend Harry Kane moving to Bayern Munich in the summer, Postecoglou needed to find a quick solution and for now it looks like he has found it in the form of Son Heung-min.

Darren Bent praises Ange Postecoglou playing Son as a striker
Tottenham did sign attacker Brennan Johnson this summer, and they also have Richarlison in their squad, but the most success so far has come from playing club captain Son as a striker.
Speaking on talkSPORT about the tactical decision, pundit Bent said: “Son down the middle looks like a masterstroke. Listen he’s not put a foot wrong yet, Postecoglou.”
This season in the Premier League, Son has six goals in his eight appearances so far. The attacker, who typically plays on the left-wing, has currently scored the second-most goals in the division.
He has played three of these games on the left-wing and five as a centre-forward. He has only scored this season when Postecoglou has played him as a centre-forward.

The stats emphasise that Bent is definitely right in calling the tactical decision a masterstroke and it has been a huge reason for Tottenham’s successes so far this campaign.
After the international break, Spurs play Fulham then Crystal Palace and if Son is on the form that he has been then there is definitely some goals coming in these fixtures.
