Bodo/Glimt chief executive Frode Thomassen has been discussing Thomas Frank ahead of his club’s game against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.
It will not be the first time that Bodo/Glimt meet Tottenham, with Spurs beating the Norwegian side on their way to winning the Europa League last season.
Since then, the Europa League winners have sacked Ange Postecoglou and replaced him with Frank.
Frank is likely to be without Dominic Solanke for the Bodo/Glimt game, while Randal Kolo Muani could also be missing. Neither player trained on Monday.

Bodo/Glimt chief executive Frode Thomassen thinks Thomas Frank is a ‘really good coach’
Whether Tottenham have Solanke and Kolo Muani or not, Bodo/Glimt know they will be in for a tough game. In Thomassen’s eyes, Spurs have a terrific manager at the helm in Frank.
Speaking to GiveMeSport ahead of the Champions League tie, Thomassen said: “I met Thomas at the stadium when we were visiting Brentford. I think he is a really good coach.
“Tottenham have changed their manager since we last played them, so this will be the first time that we meet Thomas in a competitive game. He follows Scandinavian football, so he knows Bodo/Glimt’s story and will be well prepared.”
With Solanke and Kolo Muani unlikely to be available, Richarlison will be expected to remain up front.
As well as the Brazilian, Mathys Tel is also an option for Spurs. Frank was recently asked about Tel’s best position, with the Dane highlighting his ability to spearhead the attack.
This season, Tel has led the line and played on the flank under his manager.

How Bodo/Glimt players feel about Tottenham tie
Tottenham are strong favourites for Tuesday’s game and have already beaten Bodo/Glimt before.
Even so, Bodo/Glimt’s players are still excited about the fixture, according to Thomassen.
“Many of the players are looking forward to playing Tottenham and also a team in the Premier League,” the chief executive said.
After they play Kjetil Knutsen’s side, Spurs take on Leeds United in the Premier League, another fixture that they will be expected to win.
Leeds are doing well following their return to English football’s top division, taking a point from their last game against Bournemouth.

However, Spurs should have enough firepower to beat them, and the same applies to their Champions League clash against Bodo/Glimt. Anything other than two wins would be disappointing.
