Richarlison played for Brazil last night but the performance of the Tottenham star was not great, with media from his home nation not best pleased with how he played.
It has not been the best of starts to the Premier League for Richarlison at Tottenham this season. In his eight appearances, he has been in and out of the starting lineup, scoring only one goal.
He will be hoping that he can improve his form, and the current international break is the perfect opportunity for him to gain some momentum with some good performances.
It doesn’t look like it has worked for Richarlison. Instead, it looks like he has continued his poor form and Brazilian media did not rate his performance well.

Brazilian media slate Richarlison performance on international duty
Brazilian publication Globo Esporte rated the performance of the Brazil squad after their 1-1 draw with Venezuela in the World Cup qualifiers this week.
They were not shy in critiquing Spurs striker Richarlison. Speaking about the player, Globo Esporte said: “Another performance below expectations. He played marked by at least two Venezuelans most of the time. He left the area to get the ball and made execution errors.”
They also gave the 26-year-old a vote of 4.5 out of ten for his performance. Richarlison started the game and did not create much or score a goal in the draw.
Instead, Brazil had to rely on Arsenal defender Gabriel to score for them. In the end, Venezuela equalised in the 85th minute.

Manager Ange Postecoglou will not be happy with what he is seeing from Richarlison so far this season, but he has found a solution to his striker problems in the form of Son Heung-min.
The South Korean international and Spurs captain has been on top form now playing as a striker and he won the Premier League Player of the Month award for September.
