Bayern Munich honorary president, Uli Hoeness, insists that Harry Kane is very happy in Germany and is expected to remain until at least 2027.
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker has been flying in the Bundesliga again this season, netting a staggering 31 goals in 26 matches.
🔮 You predict: Will Harry Kane ever play for Tottenham again?
The 32-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena this summer, but Hoeness has moved to shut down those talks.
Now, the Bayern president has been speaking about his future in Germany, and he looks set to stay for at least another season.
Harry Kane is set to stay another season at Bayern Munich
Harry Kane is set to stay at least one more season at Bayern Munich, according to Uli Hoeness.
The England captain is belived to be very happy in Germany and has no desire to leave anytime soon.
Speaking to Kicker (Via Bayern & Germany), Hoeness said: “He didn’t exercise his release clause, which means he’s definitely under contract here until summer 2027. What I’m hearing and feeling is that he and his family feel extremely comfortable here.
“You never know when a Saudi comes along and puts a lot of money on the table. But he feels very much at home.
🔮 IMAGINE THIS: Where would Tottenham be right now if they still had both HARRY KANE and ANGE POSTCOGLOU?
“Harry Kane can play at this level for at least another three or four years, because he’s a perfect professional who takes care of his body. He’s always at rehab and with the physios.”
Should he ever decide to leave Bayern and return to the Premier League, Tottenham have the first option to sign Kane.
But right now, with Bayern favourites to win the Champions League and Spurs in contention to be heading for the Championship, a move feels unlikely.
Although if they stay up and Mauricio Pochettino returns to Spurs, then maybe he could be tempted to return to the English top flight at some stage.
Kane is still in pursuit of Alan Shearer’s Premier League goal-scoring record, and the striker may feel that he can reach the 260 mark were he to return to Spurs.
