Tottenham Hotspur have announced a third arrival of the summer transfer window with Archie Gray completing his move from Leeds United.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have been waiting for another signing after confirming the return of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.
Add in Lucas Bergvall’s arrival from Djurgarden and Tottenham are strengthening for next season.
Bergvall is certainly signing with the future in mind though and the same goes for new signing Archie Gray.
Tottenham have managed to fend off Premier League competition and complete the signing of Leeds United wonderkid Gray.
Gray’s move has now been confirmed with the 18-year-old ready to make a Premier League impact with Tottenham moving forward despite strong interest from Brentford.

Archie Gray shirt number confirmed
Tottenham have confirmed that Gray has signed a six-year contract with the club and will wear number 14 as a Spurs player.
Gray wore the number 22 at Leeds last season but that shirt is taken by Brennan Johnson at Tottenham.
That means the teenager has been forced to change it up upon arriving in North London.
“It’s obviously a massive club and an opportunity that I couldn’t turn down,” said Gray upon completing his move.
“I’m just really excited to play and get started with the team. It still hasn’t sunk in to be honest, I don’t think it will for the next few days. Maybe until we’ve played a few games, until I’ve got to meet everyone, it won’t have sunk in.”
“I’m really excited and looking forward to it. It’s a massive opportunity for me and so I’m really excited,” he added.
The number 14 brought success for David Ginola back in the day and if Gray can have anywhere near the same impact, he will have been money well spent.

Who has recently worn number 14 for Tottenham Hotspur?
Last season’s number 14 was Ivan Perisic, but we barely saw the Croatian in action.
Perisic was a bit-part player before a major knee injury, and he then completed a move to Hajduk Split in January.
Before Perisic’s arrival in 2022, Joe Rodon – the man sent to Leeds in exchange for Gray – wore number 14.
The last number 14’s before the Welshman were Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Clinton N’Jie, so the shirt has seen mixed fortunes in recent times.
One of the biggest successes is Luka Modric, who took number 14 after arriving from Dinamo Zagreb in 2008.
Modric became a hero at Tottenham before joining Real Madrid, going on to become one of the finest midfielders in the history of the game.
The hope is that Gray will be more of a Modric than an N’Jie and will go on to wear the number 14 shirt to huge success in the coming years.
