Tottenham Hotspur have the chance to take stock once again as the international break gets under way and there’s a fair bit for Ange Postecoglou to do in the coming week.
Spurs once again lost a Premier League match just before an international break, and the manager will need to find a way to ensure his team can achieve some consistency ahead of the festive period.
However, it’s not all doom and gloom at Tottenham, as the team has shown that they can not only beat, but thoroughly hammer anyone on their day.
In addition, Postecoglou has shown he’s not afraid to give youth a chance, giving minutes to the likes of Mikey Moore, Will Lankshear, Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray.
On Thursday, the Spurs media team interviewed Gray in their latest “Driving Home With” video, and Ben Haines quizzed the £30million man on a number of topics.
Gray shared what his goals are in his maiden season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and also what he and his teammates are “keen on” in terms of targets.

Archie Gray would ‘definitely’ like to win the Europa League
Gray revealed that the prospect of winning the Europa League is “definitely” something that everyone in the Spurs dressing room would like to achieve.
When asked about his personal goals, Gray told Haines: “Obviously challenge for a trophy, that’s the obvious one.
“And for me personally this season, try get as many minutes as possible and help the team as much as I can in any way.”
When asked about the prospect of playing in the Europa League final in Bilbao, Gray replied: “Yeah, that would be (cool), definitely.
“That’s definitely one we’re all keen on, it’s a great competition, there’s been some great winners and stuff like that, that’d be very nice!”
With Rodrigo Bentancur seemingly set for a lengthy ban, Gray could well be given more minutes in the coming weeks, with Yves Bissouma also in contention to replace the Uruguayan.

How Tottenham have fared in European football
Tottenham became the first British club to win a major European competition, lifting the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1963.
In 1972, Spurs won the inaugural UEFA Cup and then triumphed once again in the competition in 1984.
Tottenham have reached a further two finals in Europe, contesting the 1974 UEFA Cup against Feyenoord and, more recently, taking part in the 2019 Champions League final against Liverpool.
