Tottenham Hotspur have put their mixed start to the season behind them and are now in great form with five wins in a row in all competition.
Spurs’ latest triumph came in the Europa League as they ran out 2-1 winners over Ferencvaros in Hungary on Thursday.
Tottenham led 1-0 at the break thanks to Pape Matar Sarr’s 23rd-minute opener, which came about after some great work from full debutant Mikey Moore.
Brennan Johnson then continued on his rich vein of form with his fifth goal from five games in the last few minutes of the game.
Although Ferencvaros struck in the 90th minute to set up a nervy finale for Tottenham, the visitors hung on for their second win in the competition.
Another talking point from the game involved two of Spurs’ academy stars, Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear, who made their full debuts.
While Moore’s display was superb and Lankshear also did well for himself, another youngster in the Tottenham ranks once again had people singing his praises.

Alasdair Gold backs Archie Gray for stardom at Tottenham
Archie Gray is just 18 years of age, but he’s playing with a quality and confidence beyond his years.
He has been so good for Tottenham that £30million – the fee Spurs reportedly paid Leeds United for his services – already seems like a bargain.
The teenager has also shown himself to be an incredibly versatile option for Postecoglou, playing the first half in central defence and the second at left-back.
Gray’s display impressed plenty of Tottenham fans, while Alasdair Gold also loved what he saw from the former Elland Road ace.
Gold gave Gray an 8 out of 10 rating on football.london and declared that “the 18-year-old is going to be a fantastic player for the club”.
He continued: “Playing completely out of position but he showed so many great touches, including one backheel that sent Spurs away on a big counter attack. Worked so hard throughout.”
Meanwhile, the Evening Standard went with a 7 out of 10 and wrote: “Showed flashes of real class, including a lovely flick in the corner.
“Did not look entirely comfortable at centre-half and left-back but underlined his versatility by playing 45 minutes in each role.”
With Gray, Moore, Lankshear, Lucas Bergvall and Wilson Odobert in their ranks, Tottenham really do have a bright future ahead of them.
