A round-up of the latest Tottenham news, including updates on Tanguy Ndombele, Lucas Bergvall and Cristian Romero.
Tanguy Ndombele transfer latest
Tottenham are ready to let attacking midfielder Tanguy Ndombele leave in the summer transfer window, according to reports. The playmaker is the club’s record signing at £63million from Lyon in 2019, but struggled to find a place in the team.
Loan moves have followed since, with Ndombele currently at Galatsaray until the end of the season. However, upon his return in the summer, reports from Turkey claim that Ange Postecoglou has no plans for the Frenchman.
It points towards an exit in the summer transfer window, though it remains to be seen which offers could be on the table. Tottenham, at this stage, may be willing to settle for any sort of fee or wages off of their books.

Lucas Bergvall claim
Tottenham youngster Lucas Bergvall has explained why he chose to join the club over Barcelona when making the transfer. The Swedish wonderkid has been touted with a big future in the game, something Spurs will be looking to harness.
Discussing his decision to pick the Lilywhites over Barcelona, he told Swedish media: “As I have said before it was very much 50/50. An incredibly difficult choice with two really good clubs. But I chose Tottenham mainly because of the gut feeling and the feelings I got when I met the club.”
Tottenham fans may get their first look at the midfielder when he officially joins the club in the summer.

Cristian Romero claim
Former Premier League footballer Jamie Redknapp criticised Tottenham defender Cristian Romero before the Premier League defeat to Fulham. Spurs stuttered at Craven Cottage as the home side put three past the visitors on the night.
Speaking ahead of the game, Redknapp revealed his concern in the backline, saying on Sky Sports: “Dragusin coming in, it’s a big opportunity for him. Also alongside Romero who can be a little bit rash at times. He can be very good defensively, but he can make a few mistakes.”
The defender has previously fielded criticism for his lack of a calming presence at the back, though it is something he appears to have changed this season.
