Archie Gray was handed another chance to shine for Tottenham Hotspur as they were embarrassed and humiliated by title-chasing Arsenal.
The young midfielder was handed a start by new boss Igor Tudor as Arsenal ran out 4-1 winners in the North London derby to further hamper Spurs’ chances of remaining in the Premier League.
Tottenham played pretty well in the first half and got an equaliser through Randal Kolo Muani just two minutes after Eberechi Eze had given Arsenal the lead.
Venkatesham and Lange are highly unpopular among the Tottenham fans…😡
Should Spurs sack them at the end of the season?
Another from Eze and two goals from Viktor Gyokeres ensured a comfortable rout for Arsenal, however, and Gray came in for some criticism after the game.

Clinton Morrison makes Archie Gray claim after Arsenal defeat
The youngster is still learning his trade when it comes to the Premier League, and ultimately, the player still has some things to work on.
Gray was criticised for his part in the fourth goal Spurs conceded, with Morrison feeling that Gyokeres bullied the Tottenham man far too easily.
He said on BBC Radio 5 Live: “Tottenham are not good enough defensively. Archie Gray is not strong enough, but it’s good strength from Viktor Gyokeres. A fantastic finish. Gyokeres leans on Gray and bends it into the far corner. This could be the game that kickstarts it for him.”
Gray needs to toughen up to succeed at Tottenham
In fairness to the youngster, he has been thrown in at the deep end at Tottenham, given the number of injuries and it’s hard to blame him too much.
Gyokeres did do well with his second goal and he was simply stronger than Gray in that particular moment of the match.
At the moment, Gray is being asked to perform in a number of different positions on the football pitch and that’s not helping him get any consistency either.
Gray will have to stand up to be counted pretty quickly for Spurs, with the threat of relegation now firmly looking like a realistic prospect.
