Tottenham have survived in the Premier League after a rollercoaster campaign that threatened relegation on more than one occasion.

A 1-0 win over Everton was enough to secure survival, with London rivals West Ham consigned to Championship football next season.

Joao Palhinha stepped up to score the game’s only goal, with West Ham’s 3-0 victory over Leeds proving insignificant as they were relegated with a whimper.

Tottenham worked desperately hard on the day, but despite the win, Jamie O’Hara was disgusted with the performance of one player.

Jamie O’Hara wants Richarlison sold this summer

It will come as a shock to some Tottenham fans, but former midfielder O’Hara wants to see the Brazilian offloaded by Spurs this summer.

He wasn’t at his very best against his former club, and O’Hara felt like this performance was worthy of being sold in the summer.

O’Hara posted on social media: “I hope that’s the last game I ever see Richarlison in a Spurs shirt, absolutely woeful.”

Richarlison has scored 12 goals and registered five assists this season, with the player producing the goods in front of goal when called upon.

Tottenham perhaps could do with a bit more from the big-money signing next season but it does seem a bit knee-jerk to suggest selling him.

Richarlison is still a very accomplished Premier League player and ultimately it feels very unlikely that he will be sold during the summer transfer window.

Roberto De Zerbi will almost certainly view Richarlison as a big player in his plans for next season and O’Hara might have to get used to seeing the forward in a Spurs shirt.
