Bergvall could become Tottenham starter by end of year
Tottenham get their Premier League season under way at Leicester City on Monday 19 August, and Bergvall has certainly given Ange Postecoglou food for thought.
The 18-year-old has not looked out of place among Spurs’ established starters during pre-season and will certainly push James Maddison when it comes to starting.
Realistically, chances are that Postecoglou will go with Maddison against Leicester and potentially bring Bergvall off the bench.
However, with how well Bergvall has done – and how much he can progress – it would not be surprising to see the young Swede become a regular starter in the coming months.
