Harry Kane sends message to Tottenham after final day win
Kane is a legend in North London and it’s still a shame that the striker opted to move to Bayern Munich to further his career.
The Englishman will now be looking ahead to the World Cup, but the day after helping Bayern win the German Cup, he was clearly rooting for Tottenham from afar.
Kane sent his best regards to everyone at Tottenham and expressed his delight at the fight on display from De Zerbi’s team.
He posted on X: “Congratulations to everyone at the club, especially the fans – massive fight and result on the final day.”
Kane has achieved his dream of winning trophies with Bayern, and it’s perhaps a shame that he left before he could get his hands on one with Tottenham.
The striker will surely return to Tottenham at some point in his career, and now, with the domestic season over, he will be trying to help England lift the World Cup.
This is an extremely classy message from Kane and it simply highlights that the football club remains close to his heart despite the fact he’s a Bayern player.
