Tottenham Hotspur get their best win of the season, with Ange Postecoglou’s men scoring four past Aston Villa.
There were many good performances from Tottenham players vs Villa, but it simply has to be Dominic Solanke who will grab the headlines.
The English forward arrived at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with big expectations at the start of the season but hasn’t exactly hit the ground running regarding goals.

No more. Two against Villa will do him the world of good, and if he continues to keep scoring, will be moving in the direction of justifying his £65m price tag.
But it wasn’t just Solanke’s goals that sealed the win, a big shoutout should also be handed to Pape Matar Sarr. He was sublime in the middle of the park.
Pape Matar Sarr deserves credit for sensational performance vs Aston Villa
The Senegalese star had the extremely tough task of going up against one of the scariest midfield partnerships currently in the Premier League, in Youri Tielemans and Amadou Onana. What a job he did.
Sarr suppressed the pair all game long and ensured that Aston Villa’s usual creative outlets could not wave their magic wands as usual.

But not only was he defensively astute, he was equally as good in attack. A driving force for Spurs, moving them up the park and into the Villa half on numerous occasions. Yaya Toure-esque.
