Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester City in the FA Cup, in a game where Dejan Kulusevski absolutely dazzled.

The Swedish winger stole the show in Tottenham players ratings vs Manchester City. His two assists ensured a Man of the Match performance as Ange Postecoglou secured Spurs’ place in the next round of the Carabao Cup.

But it wasn’t just Dejan Kulusevski who deserved credit. Timo Werner also had a brilliant game, alongside Radu Dragusin at the back who managed to keep the Cityzen’s mostly quiet.

But one man who may not necessarily get the plaudits he deserves was the man in the centre of the park for Tottenham – who was integral to the Spurs victory on the night.

Rodrigo Bentancur was sensational for Tottenham against Manchester City

Rodrigo Bentancur was superb against City on the night and will go down as the unsung hero.

His persistent battling in midfield left Pep Guardiola’s side bamboozled at times – and ultimately, he did the dirty work which allowed the attackers to thrive at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

His stats on the day reflect in his fabulous shift in the middle of the pitch. A stellar showing from the Uruguayan.
