Tottenham Hotspur look set to strengthen their attacking ranks over the course of the weekend.
On Friday afternoon, some of the biggest names in the football journalism industry confirmed that Spurs had made a significant transfer breakthrough.
The likes of David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano reported that Tottenham had agreed a deal with Premier League rivals Bournemouth for Dominic Solanke.
Spurs had been in talks with the Cherries over the past few days in order to thrash out a deal and it looks as though they’re now over the line.
Romano declared “here we go” on Solanke to Tottenham, while Ornstein went into some more detail on when the medical tests should be taking place.

Dominic Solanke set to undergo Tottenham medical on Friday night and Saturday morning
Ornstein took to X to report that Tottenham have reached total agreement with Bournemouth over Solanke in a deal worth up to £65million.
The 26-year-old, who is set to sign a six-year contract in north London, is expected to undergo his medical tests on Friday night and Saturday night.
Ornstein finished by reiterating that Solanke was a “top target” for Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou.
What Dominic Solanke will bring to Tottenham
Earlier this week, Sky Sports News journalist Michael Bridge spoke about what Solanke is set to bring to Tottenham.
“Ultimately he’s an out-and-out centre-forward,” he said.
“Solanke can also play as a 10, he’s also played in wide positions before for previous clubs.
“He can do a bit of everything, and that’s what Ange Postecoglou likes in his forwards.”
Meanwhile, Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola told Sky Sports News back in January: “He is very good for our system, but I also think he is good for any system.
“He can play in a low block, because he is very good attacking spaces in a counter. And then, if we are having more possession, he is very good inside the box, a very good finisher.”
Postecoglou has a great reputation when it comes to scouting and signing players, so it’ll be exciting to see how Solanke fares for Tottenham once he joins.
