Tottenham Hotspur could be set to lose one of their midfielders today if Galatasaray are able to tie up a deal before their winter window shuts.
Although the January window is now well behind us in England, Turkey’s does not shut until later today and one player, in particular, from Spurs in gaining interest.
Ange Postecoglou has brought Giovani Lo Celso back into the fold in north London, however, that has caught the eye of the Turkish giants.

According to a report coming out of Turkey from Aksam, the Argentine midfielder is said to be ‘positive’ about a proposed move to the Turkish Süper Lig.
It has even reportedly developed to a stage where the Tottenham midfielder is ‘preparing to say goodbye’ to his teammates today.
Negotiations are supposedly well underway to take Lo Celso away from N17 today where he could join a contingent of former Spurs players.
Giovani Lo Celso offers strong depth
Losing a player of Lo Celso’s quality at this stage of the season would feel like a real blow – especially when we would be unable to bring in a replacement.
The Argentine has had his injury issues this season, but he looks set to return to action having been captured in recent training footage out of Hotspur Way.
With Champions League football to play for, the midfielder has provided invaluable depth in the midfield amid what has been a disastrous season for injuries.
In the absence of James Maddison, Lo Celso was able to provide a return of four goal involvements.
And club captain Heung-min Son clearly thinks a lot of the 27-year-old having previously hailed him as ‘unbelievable‘.
Given he has featured a fair bit this season, it would be a real shame to see Lo Celso move on when it does feel as if he could genuinely have a big say in the remainder of our season.
