Tottenham want Arthur Dias

According to Globo, Tottenham are one of the clubs credited with interested in talented central defender Arthur Dias.

The Athletico Paranaense defender has been watched by Tottenham scouts a number of times this season with the Premier League club now keen on the 19-year-old.

Dias has been one of the standout performers for his current club during the current campaign and has been a regular in the starting line-up.

Crucially, Dias is currently winning more tackles per game than Micky van de Ven, according to Who Scored, and perhaps the youngster is the ideal replacement for the Dutchman.

It’s believed that the player could cost around £18 million and that could represent a cost-effective purchase regardless of which division Tottenham are playing in next season.
