Tottenham showing interest in £65m player who’s been ‘outstanding’ at this summer’s Euros already

Tottenham Hotspur are showing interest in a player who has made an electric start to this summer’s Euros.

The summer transfer window is open for business as there is a lot that Ange Postecoglou will be looking to do over the coming weeks having overseen his first season as the Tottenham manager.

Spurs have already secured the services of Timo Werner on another loan deal from RB Leipzig for the whole 2024/25 season.

But the signing of the German winger was made official before the window even opened for business as fans now await the first permanent arrival at Hotspur Way of the summer.

Besides in goal, all areas of the pitch could be open to improvements over the coming months with Spurs showing frailties through their lack of quality in depth last term.

And it seems as if Spurs now have their eyes on one of the players who has really impressed during the opening games of the Euros over in Germany.

This summer’s Euros will provide a number of players the stage to showcase their talents just as the transfer window has opened.

And there is one player who has had interest from Tottenham for a period of time now and he is only solidifying any interest from clubs this summer with his displays for his country.

Valuations of players can fluctuate during international tournaments and Spurs will be hoping the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg can add a few extra million on their price tags over the coming weeks.

But one player who may also be doing just that is Crystal Palace and England centre-back Marc Guehi after his solid display against Serbia over the weekend.

According to the Daily Mail, Spurs are one of the clubs who are showing a keen interest in the defender this summer.

Spurs are among a number of Premier League clubs interested in the 23-year-old with Liverpool and Manchester United also credited.

However, this is a player who is going to require a hefty price tag if he is going to be prised away from Selhurst Park with Palace believed to be holding out for £65m.

Marc Guehi stood out for England vs Serbia
