Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly the most likely side to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher this summer.
That’s according to The Telegraph, with the outlet claiming that West Ham are also showing interest in the England international.
Spurs have enjoyed an encouraging start to the summer window as they’ve bolstered Ange Postecoglou’s squad with the additions of Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison and Manor Solomon.
Tottenham are in desperate need of reinforcements at centre-back, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba and Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven both heavily linked with a switch to North London.
But Spurs may be forced to address their midfield once again as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has been linked with a summer switch to Atletico Madrid.
Indeed, The Daily Mail claimed just last week that Tottenham have identified Conor Gallagher as a possible replacement for Hojbjerg.
And despite interest from West Ham, Spurs are apparently the most likely side to sign the 23-year-old this summer.

Tottenham most likely to sign Gallagher
The Telegraph reports that West Ham are being heavily linked with a £40 million move for Gallagher.
But it’s noted that Spurs are the midfielder’s ‘more likely’ destination at this moment in time.
Gallagher struggled for minutes at Chelsea last season after he had starred for Crystal Palace under Patrick Vieira during the 2021/22 campaign.
Despite barely featuring for the Blues, he’s managed to retain his place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad over the past year.
The Athletic reports that West Ham have already had a £40 million bid for Gallagher knocked back, with Chelsea valuing him at around £50 million.

The Spurs News View
Postecoglou will be keen to re-shape the Spurs squad in his image this summer and Gallagher seems like a good fit for his system.
The Chelsea ace works relentlessly off the ball and has shown his quality in the final third during his spell at Palace. But it’s difficult to see Tottenham matching Chelsea’s £50 million price-tag to sign him this summer.
Even if Hojbjerg heads out the door, it remains unclear whether the Blues would be open to doing business with Spurs.
